Ease the pressure with an API pressure gauge

Ease the pressure with a pressure gauge from API Pneumatic UK. In this blog, we compare our digital pressure gauges against our analogue pressure gauges to help you decide what type is most suitable for your application.

What is a pressure gauge?

A pressure gauge is a measurement device, available in both analogue and digital versions from API Pneumatic UK. A pressure gauge is a necessary addition to our modular airline equipment and micro regulators to monitor the pressure within the system. API pneumatic pressure gauges give you full visibility of major changes and fluctuations in pressure that could consequently affect a system.

Digital pressure gauge vs analogue

At API Pneumatic UK, we have two types of pressure gauges available: analogue and digital. Here we compare our digital pressure gauges vs analogue, to illustrate their different features and benefits.

Analogue pressure gauges

The first type of pressure gauge we’re going to look at is our analogue pressure gauges, which are manufactured specifically for compressed air. Available in a range of face sizes (40mm, 50mm and 63mm), and as multiple versions, there is definitely a product suitable for your application.

Our analogue pressure gauges are available with:

• Rear connection
• In-line connection
• rear connection and flange
• Rear connection and panel bracket

API analogue pressure gauges perform highly in temperatures between -20 °C and + 60°C and have a protection standard of IP41.

Types Of Pressure Gauges

Digital pressure gauges

Our other type of pressure gauge is a digital pressure gauge. A digital pressure gauge can be used for multiple fluids, including filtered air and incombustible and non-corrosive gases in a temperature range of 0 and 50 °C. Digital pressure gauge readings are easy and efficient to read, with readings clearly shown on the LED display. API pneumatic pressure gauges are powered by a lithium battery to ensure simple installation.

Our two versions of digital pressure gauge available are:

• Pressure gauges 1/8
• Pressure gauges 1/4
